![]() ![]() The other expansion is the Fractured Worlds. New weapons and items have been added in that can also be transferred back and forth between the main game and DLCS. Way more thought was put into each boss fight in Motorhead and they are really fun to take part in. The boss fights in the Motorhead expansion are where the game shines over the original game. The soundtrack to the Motorhead DLC is pumped full of rock music that at first is cool but towards the end can get tiresome. There are also 80 plus challenges that can be completed on normal and elite. The Motorhead DLC adds around 4 to 5 hours to the game through story. You can freely go back and forth between the main game and DLC and continue to level up your character and collect gear. The level cap was originally 50 on PC but that has been extended to 60. You can carry your character over to the expansions. In Victor Vran your character will just get demoted to a normal character. In most games dying on hardcore difficulty will cause you to lose your character forever. You can aslo choose to enable hardcore mode. Hard difficulty is the last option which turns on all Hexes and is truly challenging gameplay. On normal difficulty you can choose to make the game harder by applying Hexes that will give the enemies extra armor or increase their attack speed. If you choose to play on casual difficulty you will have an easy run but the ability to turn on Hexes to modify the game will not be available. The game has 3 various difficulty levels. ![]() You do this by combining the same weapon type and transmuting them to your primary weapon. You can increase the damage and other various stats that a weapon has. Weapons can also be modified through transmutation once you reach level 16. You can even equip life steal cards that will give you back life on hit. There are various levels of rare cards that can enhance your weapons or give you buffs to your damage. Destiny cards will be the biggest factor of how you modify your build. You are allowed to equip two weapons so you can even equip one melee weapon and one range if you choose to. You might choose to run a melee build and focus on sword play while your friend can specialize in a ranged build and equip a shotgun. You modify your character through gear and destiny cards that enhance certain stats. In Victor Vran everyone plays the same role. There are no classes to choose from such as warrior or mage. The game plays similar to Diablo with one major change. There is also the option of 2 player split screen. You can play Victor Vran with up to 3 friends in 4 player coop. These will test your skill with the game and will have you perform much tougher tasks than you would see on normal. Beating the game will unlock even more content in the form of elite challenges. There are around 200 normal challenges to complete that will task you with killing enemies in a variety of ways or by turning on modifiers called Hexs that will make the game harder. Completing these challenges will greatly increase your playtime with the game. There are around 35 to 40 campaign levels that each come with various challenges you can take part in. You can complete the story in 10 to 15 hours if you chose to rush through. In fact I have spent nearly 60 hours playing through the main campaign. The base game of Victor Vran comes packed with tons of content. The Motorhead and Fractured Worlds expansions both come with the Overkill Edition. There is an option to purchase the base game for $19.99 if you choose to not want to take part in the new DLCS. Two expansions come with the Overkill Edition of the game which can be purchased physically or digitally. Victor Vran was originally released two years ago on PC and now finally makes it way to console with all new content. A review copy was provided by the developer or publisher. It can be purchased for $39.99 on Xbox One and Playstation 4. Victor Vran Overkill Edition is developed by Haemimont Games and published by Wired Productions. ![]()
